Gear List

Summer 2009 was strangely warm and dry -- in fact, the locals even began complaining about it being "hot," which you don't hear very often in Alaska. This all was fortunate for me since I didn't have to contend with the cold-and-wet conditions for which I had prepared, but it makes me wonder how my gear kit would have performed in more normal summer conditions. I guess I will have to return in order to find out...
