From the Continental Divide along Idaho-Montana border

Many of the most remote stretches of the Continental Divide Trail are along the Idaho-Montana border, from where few signs of modern civilization can be seen, including in this vista looking west towards Idaho's Tendoy Mountains. At a time when the West's population centers are sprawling outwards ever faster into surrounding croplands and rangelands, it's comforting to find that one can still find peaceful solitude in large tracks of de facto Western wilderness.
